February 24th 2024 signals the second year mark of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Thousands of people took part in a rally held in the heart of London that afternoon with the purpose of urging for continued international support, remembering the fallen and calling for peace. The rally consisted of three parts, the public gathering at Speakers’ Corner Hyde Park, the organised procession to Trafalgar Square where the final part, a vigil, took place. The rally was organised by the Support Ukraine Coordination Hub, a British-Ukrainian initiative that was set up in 2022 with the aim of facilitating and delivering aid to the Ukrainian people.
